Five Clever Tips to Make Your Old Computer Like New
We all know that it’s not an easy thing to just go and purchase a brand new computer. You probably currently own one, but are completely unsatisfied with how it operates. We’ve all been there and with increasing costs on everyday needs, you might find it difficult to justify a new computer. Today, we’ll let you know how you can turn your old computer into a new one without busting your budget:
1. Estimate Your Budget/ What You’re Willing to Spend:
Before jumping into the market, estimate how much money you’re willing to spend. You shouldn’t require a huge budget in order to resurrect your old computer; a couple of hundred bucks will do just fine if you follow these tips. Upgrading the most essential parts will pump the life back into your hardware, letting you run on your old PC without having to spend thousands to get a decent gear.
2. Backup All of Your Data:
After jotting down all the system and hardware information needed, you should start backing up the data on your hard-drive. You need to have everything in place before messing around under the hood of your computer. Try backing up your data to an external hard-drive. If you don’t have access to one– try updating it to the cloud. Ensure that you are backing up your C: drive as well. You will probably lose everything on your C: drive if you are reinstalling a new operating system (Windows, Linux…etc) over it.
